Message from The Chief

On behalf of everyone in the McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department, let me welcome you to the McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department’s Web page. The McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department is comprised of dedicated full-time, part-time and volunteers, who are highly capable and proud of their profession. We currently run on a 24/48 schedule with 5 Fulltime members supported by Part-time and Volunteer firefighters. The McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department services 32.3 square miles in Fire District 22. Rockwall County.

City of McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department will be committed to serving the McLendon-Chisholm area community Fire District 22 with the highest level of life and property protection. We will achieve this by providing excellent and compassionate service in an atmosphere that encourages innovation, professional development and diversity.

The mission of McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of the people of McLendon-Chisholm from fires, natural disasters, and hazardous materials incidents; to save lives by providing first responder emergency medical response; to prevent fires through prevention and education programs; and to provide a work environment that values cultural diversity and is free of harassment and discrimination.

We will provide quality service, professional fire protection and life safety to meet the needs of our community. McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department is made up of a group of dedicated personnel that represent the diversity of the community. These Firefighters work every day of the year to improve the quality of service provided to the community. I am proud to serve this community with the quality of Firefighters that personally give so much back to the community.
